2065: Heida shows that her mind is independent of its host and can be moved or copied.
To demonstrate the power of a digital mind, Heida gestures at some robots on either side of her; one is a little dog, and the other is a floating silver sphere. She starts to tell Lian that she is going to move her mind into the dog, and then in mid-sentence there is a laser flash between her and the dog. With no perceptible pause, the dog continues the sentence and the humanoid that used to hold Heida's mind goes inert. The dog then tells Lian that it's going to move its mind into the sphere, and the same thing happens again. Finally, the sphere tells Lian that it's going to copy its mind into the other two robots, there are two laser flashes, and then all three robots start talking at the same time. When Lian asks "which one is the real you?" they all start to laugh.
