2068: Lian makes one last trip to Earth to see Taron.
Over the next few years, Lian and Taron continue their long-distance relationship between Mars and Earth. Contrary to her vows of secrecy, Lian hints to Taron about the breakthroughs in digital life. In return, Taron warns Lian that Earth is becoming more fearful about Mars again, and this time it's much better prepared than before. Wary of an imminent war, he begs her to visit him on Earth. She returns for one last passionate encounter and then slips away in the dead of night back to her homeland.
