2069: While Taron is grieving back on Earth, he receives a secret message from Lian.
Taron is devastated. Lian is gone forever. His heart is heavy and he mourns the loss of his lover and the lives of the Martians. Even though Mars posed a threat at some level, wasn't it also something wonderful? Earth now had the blood of Mars on its hands and would have to live with it for a long time. Sitting along in his darkened room on Earth, Taron suddenly looks up when a floating hologram indicates that a heavily encrypted visual message from Lian has arrived. He naturally assumes it is a goodbye message sent before the attack, but then realizes that the message was sent after the end of the war!
